We’ve always liked the idea of traveling long-term together—it's always been a big part of our relationship. Our first two years were spent living in different places, constantly traveling to see one another.Eventually, traveling and living in an RV became a way to take our life where we wanted to go (physically and mentally). Over the early part of our relationship, Cody was dealing with some undiagnosed health issues. When we finally learned that he had a rare autoimmune kidney disease—and that stress contributed to relapses—we knew our hectic lives needed to change. We needed some time for creative seclusion to work on changing our careers. We also needed a period of rest to step back from the stressful, busy lives we were leading to give our bodies some time to heal.
After three years of planning and saving, we bought the RV, quit our jobs, and started traveling. We’re both taking our careers in new directions, learning to manage stress in a healthy way, and enjoying the freedom of life on the road. We'd love to have you along with us on this journey.
